Very busy day. Too busy. Busy weekend. This week calls for appointments for my daughter. For one, an eye appointment. There is research that suggests this new "breakthrough" medication for CF, that just arrived into her age group, can cause some eye issues. So, we will monitor that. This med, she has only been taking 3 days, I am hoping, wishing, waiting to see any signs of improvement. Maybe less coughing and illness? Let's hope. Less loss, of salt.
Band practice, or jamming was off this week due to my mixer issues. After fiddling around with the new one, I finally got sound out of it. I had to update the drivers, otherwise the sound kept crackling every other minute. It was honestly annoying and I spent hours figuring that out. I surely hope I like this one. I have to set my drum mics up yet.
It is a working weekend and I am le tired. It felt like I woke every hour on the hour last night. I woke with a wicked headache which is rare for me. I plan on getting back to music and testing this mixer asap. I have had a head full of swirling thoughts and emotions lately, and maybe try to dive into that somehow. I need to destress somehow. Life is challenging sometimes.
Tomorrow is Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to you all. Mother's too. Everyday is a parent's day right?
