Sometimes we say, convey, things that aren't necessarily how we really feel inside. Why do this to ourselves? To protect ourselves? I was sitting around thinking about things, and life after a recording session, and that was my thought. When you actually feel differently than you say. It's a double edged sword and can be your best friend, or worst enemy. Frenemy even. Sometimes you just need to go with it. Stop overthinking. Compromise. As humans- and I fall into this category, we can be complicated and hard to understand as humans.
Today, Sunsetta my 10 year old recorded a snippet of sax for one of my songs going on my next effort. It is called Sinsation. I am very proud of her as a parent as she has came a long way in this 1o years of existence. Especially having special needs. This will never hold her down. I am going to share the song here. I wrote it about 3-4 years ago.
The sax part came from hearing and knowing an Aerosmith song "Chiquita" from the late 70's. It had a real dirty sax in it I will share that too.
Aerosmith
Sinsation.
