I heard this song at SUNY CANTON NY, back in the late 90's. It grew my love for Pearl Jam. I had previously never understand the fascination with the band. (I was only 18-19) at that time. Then, one day working as a bartender of all things- the magnificent tune "Jeremy" was on MTV television in the bar. I watched and I was like WOW. Amazing. I totally relate to the song, the video and lyrics. Now, when I see the video of Jeremy it creates a lump in my throat. This song, I have covered live (Yellow Led Better) and it also has taken me into depths of tears when in the throws of down and out. A woman, girl, named Lisa turned me onto this song. She was the "Gypsy Queen" I posted about earlier. (song) Some things just make good damn songs.
