Got the song, not the girl.

Just an idea I come up with. I truly at times feel musicians can be some of the most misunderstood people on EARTH. I want to write a tune yet, that describes how the person wrote the song, the lyrics, everything about a person, but got the song, not the girl. Is there truth to this concept? In my patterns, it feels it has some truth to it over years of relationship patterns. Snaps of memories and pictures of times. I am sure this is nothing new, but I am yet to write it.
