Hi. Still sort of ill, very cough ridden. Feel like I smoked a pack of cigarettes today, and I don't smoke. I surely hope this passes soon. Worked today neway. Kind of a challenging day.
Challenging all around. Yep. Challenging.
(Temple of the Dog) - Chris Cornell ( sadly missed)
Do I believe in God, was the reason I put this up really? Absolutely. It's not that I don't believe in "her" or "it" or "he"- it's that faith part that hangs me up. Like probably anyone, it waivers. I know this tune was written about a friend (musician) that passed. He sadly died of overdose. He was in a band called "Mother Love Bone". Vocalist. Anyway, the mind and body is such a work of art. Someone had to make this. I mean, I was thinking about women today lol... in general now, cmon'. I just think women are beautiful creatures. Such beauties of art. We all are really. It's really amazing how the body just seems to be set into motion and as long as you can keep it "plugged in" and rolling, it will last a while. Life is so short though. I have this conversation all the time. The older you get, the faster it goes and when you have children involved it seems to go even faster. Year by year, it is like "What the have I been doing with my time?"
My song that mostly hits on the spiritual topic is ARE YOU THERE? I will post it in here. I recorded this at Fifth Dimension Records. (2017) Speaking of some memories. My most spiritual moments are usually on the beach, or by water. Aside from my inner brainiac workings. Actually, if not for illness, at 19 or so, I may have never been in the spiritual realm of things ever. My family was not spiritual or religious whatsoever. I like how that word runs altogether, whatsoever.
Well, listen to these tunes. I also lost a friend to suicide. I will post that here. I always wonder what he would be doing today. It is a raw sounding recording from a music disc/poetry disc, effort (stream)- however you like your music. Tracy Matthews. I have played a vigil or two and he usually comes up as a song I tribute to him. His father a year before his suicide had done the same. TAKEN too soon. Hold onto life. I have been there my friends too. Almost taken away way too soon. Around 19. I wish I could elaborate more, I just can't here. So we have "Wings to Fly". "Are You There" and "Say Hello to Heaven".
Are You There? Stay WELL.
